Lyten Ett
One of the largest non-Asian owned battery manufacturing sites in Europe. The site is now the centerpiece of the Lyten Industrial Hub Sweden, collocating 16 GWh of battery manufacturing with more than 1GW of AI data centers, bringing both jobs and investment to the community. The site is entirely powered by hydro electricity.
Lyten acquired the site from Northvolt in February 2026. Battery manufacturing operations have restarted and ramp up is ongoing. EdgeConneX has been selected to develop the data center site and work has started on Phase 1 of the development.

Lyten Labs
As the largest battery R&D campus in Europe, the site sits at the heart of Lyten’s battery and energy storage system development roadmap. Lyten Labs collaborates closely with Lyten’s teams in Silicon Valley, creating a transatlantic materials and battery R&D powerhouse bringing together the best of US and European battery expertise. The site is entirely powered by hydro electricity.
Lyten acquired the site from Northvolt in February 2026. Development is ongoing for both next generation, ultra high cycle life NMC batteries and gigascale industrialization of Lyten’s lithium-sulfur battery technology.
