Lyten Booth a Success at Motor Bella

Published: September 22, 2021

The Motor Bella show was a huge success for Lyten as we announced our new LytCell EV™ lithium-sulfur (Li-S) battery platform for Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) market, which is projected to have up to 3 times (3x) greater energy density than conventional lithium-ion batteries. At the same time, we announced our exit from stealth mode after 6 years.

We had John McElroy from Autoline stop by, get a tour of the booth, and ended up staying for over an hour learning about our technology and filming an interview with our CEO Dan Cook.

The Recharge Station espresso bar was operating in the booth for visitors to get energized and stay warm when the weather turned cool, and wet.

Since we were located at the front entrance, we had plenty of visitors interested in learning about Lyten. It also helped that Sandy Munro, a well-known automotive blogger, and moderator for one of the panels at Motor Bella, showed the Lyten battery in front of his panel audience as a great example of innovation in the EV market.

Greg Deveson, President of Automotive at Lyten also took to the stage as a member of the panel “The Challenges Facing Battery Electric Vehicle Adoption in the U.S.” And later he toured the track to take a look at the latest electric vehicles.

Kami Buchholz from Automotive Engineering also sat down with Dan Cook and Greg Deveson for a more in-depth understanding of the LytCell EV™ lithium-sulfur (Li-S) battery platform.

Frank Markus from Motor Trend also came in from California to see us and hear about our innovative battery technology and had a great time speaking with our executives and touring the booth.
